Curry 3c is really working for me. Which Pickett top and backbore should I try?

Hoping to hear from someone who has actually done it.

Yes I know I can email Pickett, and I have. And yes I have seen the comparison charts, but they are not useful because every manufacturer measures their stuff differently.

Thanks!

Hello jadickson.

To my old chops the Curry and Pickett rims are both very comfortable. A few weeks ago I got a Pickett 3BC top in acrylic with a 24 throat, along with a #1/24 backbore. This set-up gets a nice warm sound...and the response and flexibility are as easy as any mouthpiece I've tried.

Good luck!
