Just an FYI to all: I was contacted by someone using the name/email
Benjamin Ray <raybenjamin495@gmail.com> regarding my Harrelson Summit One for sale. The email seemed sketchy to begin with so I searched for this person but could not find anyone with that name or email in the member list. I engaged just to make sure and wasn't disappointed. Please be aware of continued activity. |

Just thinking out loud, but it's possible, isn't it, that his posting in the Marketplace was done without his knowing the one post rule? Just an honest mistake? I'm not saying not to be cautious, but what makes you think he's a scammer?

From the listing above I thought the OP was selling and posted the listing. Benjamin was a buyer and I don’t believe looking at the marketplace, and then sending an email instead of a PM, requires membership. |

That is correct.
I think I will add a section to the email inquiries letting the recipient know if the user is a member of the site or note. That will help in discerning whether the inquiry is a scam or not.
Also, raybenjamin495 is definitely a scammer.

Nice. Good idea about adding the member or not. |
