Just came across those two sites:
http://retrumpet.com/
https://www.facebook.com/believeREincarnation/
Does anyone know anything about those horns? Info on the site is essentially zero, no address or location, etc.
Or has anyone even played one of their horns? _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

Yep, that’s the second link I posted
Not much info there, either. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

It’s a repair/overhaul shop that fixes up old horns. That is what it says in the link you posted _________________ Mouthpiece Maker

Yeah, but some posts make the impression that they also build trumpets. _________________ 2019 Martin Schmidt eXcellence

It looks like they make frankenhorns, with some new parts of their own. _________________ 1938 Martin Handcraft Imperial #2 bore, 38 bell

yes, he uses old instruments. That's his philosophy. I guess it's not possible to do everything yourself yet, so I use the old ones. He removes the varnish and adds rings. He changes the leadpipe, slide tuning (Romeo Adači). Caps. I play on one like this. It's easy to play. REsplendent. |
