|
|
Hola,
Gracias. |

Hello,
My choice when I play pic, is to also narrow the width. Maybe go to a 3 or 4SV or even M cup. I see that your taper is a 3*. That should be good to hold pitch down in the high range. I use a 4 or 5. Some people like a larger 8*, but I find my pitch sharpens in the upper notes. I play a Schilke P5-4 and a P7. Just a thought. _________________ Christian K. Peters

When playing picc is recomended a shallower and smailler diametee. 5/6 sv
Ans 8* backbore to correct intonation issues on picc
If you choose another brand schilke bach yamaha etc, picc atñre made this way

Translating the OPs message via Google, he says:
Warburton top and backbore for piccolo
Hello,
I am currently playing with Warburton mouthpieces and I am very happy.
Top 2MC 24 leadpipe 5*/27 for light music and
Top 2MD 24 leadpipe 9* 24 for symphonic.
What configuration would you advise me from your experience for the piccolo trumpet? I have thought about a top 2SV 3* leadpipe, what do you think?
Thank you.
Google Translate
I presume that leadpipe means backbore (probably a limitation of the translation).
Hi. I personally don't play piccolo trumpet, so will leave this to someone more experienced in this regard to answer, but good luck with your search. Take care and best wishes. Lou
Hola. Lou _________________ Trumpets:
