I have a couple of old trumpets that I take outside and practice with here on the ranch. A silver American Standard High Grade by Cleveland that is nearly immaculate after a good bath and polish.
It appears as though it's hardly been played. and an American Standard made by King Craftsmen the H N White Co. The King plays surprisingly nicely. The Cleveland takes a little more effort but still plays nice. The King is beat up and rough. The Cleveland is nearly spotless.
I can't quite figure out when the King was manufactured S/N 54104. The Cleveland is pretty early on S/N 1885 so made somewhere between 1919-1925? My better trumpet for serious playing is a 70s Strad *43. Very clean and it plays so well. I just hate taking outside here on the ranch to play so it spends most of it's time inside. Haha. Thanks.

Here's the King HN White in the rough. Plays great!

King is quality, their designs will play well. Take 'em out, round 'em up!
