Hi everybody,
Sorry I haven't been here in awhile, but "my plate has been rather full", lately.
My wife just had her kidney removed last week (she came home yesterday and is doing fine), I'm playing two different shows in two different towns right now, and I'm trying to find time to prepare the Haydn, Honniger, and about 20 - 25 different HARD Orchestral Excerpts for my upcoming audition for Solo Trumpet with the Radio Symphony Orchestra Berlin, which is next week!
The Musical I'm playing in Hamburg ("Emil and the Detectives") closes next Sunday, so I'll finally have some time to contribute and also answer the e-mails I've received requesting help and advice in the last month or so.
I'll post the Orchestral Excerpt list from the audition next week, along with who won the audition - hopefully, MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Sincerely,
John Mohan _________________ Trumpet Player, Clinician & Teacher

Dear John,
Best wishes for your wife's speedy recovery. My father-in-law had a similar operation and is doing well at this time.
