I just got myself a new practice mute and am more than happy with it.
it's the TrumpCor Stealth. Sure, it has a FAIR amount of resistance, but it
a.) is much quieter than the other two I tried
b.) is a bit better intonation wise that the other two.
c.) it came in a really cool mute bag! hello gimmick.
The other two I tried were:
1) the Stone-Line Practice mute...which was considerably cheaper, but consequently was louder and more intonation problems and crazier resistance. it rang in at a whopping $30 or so CANADIAN...which is like $20 for you and your american funny money
2) the Jo-Ral Practice mute. I liked this one alot but i found it ALOT heaver and it had more resistance while not cutting out the sound as much. It, as well as my Stealth, rang in at $70 Canadian...which once again...is closer to $50 for you fellows.
All in all a worthy buy. And this means when I get off work at 10 or 12 at night I can practice all my technical stuff more! It's greats because I get a 6-8 hr break off my practice routine from the afternoon which goes about 2-3 hrs!!! This is an exiting prospect.
Cheers
