I have read many of these posts and I still don't really get what exactly the Bill Adams concept is. Maybe that is the point, but I still would like to know of anythings that he did with students. Was his focus mostly on long tones? Could someone please point me in a direction, maybe an old PH post or something. I have been trying to get an idea, but it's just not becoming much more clear. Thanks |

If you are truly interested in the Bill Adam concept, you need to go take a series of lessons with Bill Adam. There are also a few students of his that could get you on track. It is not a method but rather a concept. That is why there is no Bill Adam book. One of the fundamental aspects of his teaching is that every student is different therefore the teacher has to listen to and evaluate each student. Where do you live? Maybe we can find you a teacher in your area. |

There are tons of successful Adam students in LA. Charly is the first teacher that comes to mind. Bob Slack is the next. |

Charly Davis or Jerry Hey as teachers would be a great choice. Both are phenomenal players..... |
