calre comes from the latin word clara which means famous or clear, de lune come from the latin word luna, meaning the moon. So something like a famous moon or clear as the moon. _________________ "Do, or do not. There is no 'try'." - Yoda ('The Empire Strikes Back')

Good thinking, but it's still moonlight. True, the word "clair" literally translates to "clear", but any French-English dictionary will tell you that other uses include "bright" and "light". |
