From the spec sheets on Yamaha's web site, the PM5 (for trombone) and the PM6 (for flugelhorn) look like they are the same size and weight. I have the PM5 and it seems to fit fine in my Kanstul 1525 flugelhorn. I went to my local music store, and they had a PM6 box, but the mute in the box was clearly stamped as a PM5. Does anyone out there know if there is any difference between the PM5 and PM6 beyond the printing on the box they come in?  |
