Made in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Vito is the name of LeBlanc's student line of instruments from post WWII till recent times. Named for Vito Pascucci (1922-2003), who together with Léon Leblanc (1900-2000) founded the company, the Vito line, particularly the clarinets were the bulletproof workhorses of beginning bands for several decades.
I know little about Vito cornets specifically, as LeBlanc purchased Holton during the Vito's heyday, and that became the trumpet of choice for many in the LeBlanc line. _________________ Eclipse Enigma Bb trumpet 2011

If you are talking about an old instrument, it was made at the USA Holton factory for the LeBlanc Corporation. Caution: Conn-Selmer Inc. now has a new student line of "Vito" trumpet (T502) and trombone (TR502) made in Asia. However, there is no "Vito" cornet listed in the November 2004 Conn-Selmer price book. These "Vito" instrument list for about $200 less than their "USA" student models. _________________ C. G. Conn 60B Super Connstellation
