sick :(

home sick today! dont really feel like playing my horn eithier! -sigh-

I can feel something coming on too - Felt it yesterday and did my raindance but I woke up today with a sore throat.

I guess that's what you get when you teach a bunch of K-12'ers...

Yeah, everyone has a cold at school...and whooping cough is also making its rounds.

I think I'm getting sick. Which isn't good...because we have a jazz band competition tomorrow.

Don't any of you come near me. I've been avoiding people with germs since the beginning of the year, since its been a heavy start... coming up to a two week run. Please don't let me get sick.

A year ago I had to do Chicago with the worst flu ever. Didn't even know I was on stage for the first two performances.

Same here. I woke up, got dressed, then realized I felt like crap. Stayed home and slep, woke up feeling even worse.

Morning,

Lots of healthy thoughts to everyone. One remedy we have here in our house for stuffy noses is essential peppermint oil - put a few drops in a bowl of boiling water and then inhale the steam. Or you could steam yourself in the shower by running it really hot (with you outside), stopping the water, sprinking in the peppermint drops and then jumping in and shutting the door. That will help disperse the steam too.

Other than that, wonton soup and butterscotch chips are always a cureall in my family....

Ugh...I woke up yesterday with a cough that was so bad I couldn't really breathe very well. I stayed home.

I"m home again today with the same cough, a horrible headache, a sore throat, and extremely tired.

That peppermint thing sounds like a great idea, Trumpetmom!!! I will have to try it!
