Anyone know this player? He sounds great on the last Clayton/Hamilton Big Band recording.

I played in a high school ensemble (MYWE out of the New England Conservatory Extension Division) with Bijon back in 1986, but that's the last time I saw him. He was a very strong player even back then with a lot of power and good high note chops.

| I just met Bijon...What a big cat! He looks like he should be on the line for the Dolphins or something! He seems like a real sweetheart. He will be playing tonight with Clayton/Hamilton (splitting the book with Snooky). I'm looking forward to that. |

Snooky was on tour with Doc...what a great concert! And how about Wayne with Bob Florence and Gordon Goodwin!?! Too bad we could not hear Chuck Findley with WDR. Weather Report rhythm section with bad sound guys! No Chuck!

Hmmm, I saw PH's comment about this guy looking like he should play for the dolphins, if this is the same guy I recall I understood he played football at USC before blowing his knees out or something along those lines! I could be wrong, but I thought it was an interesting story!
