My kids just brought home for a school fundraiser a catalog of magazines to sell, in it was "Guitar Player" magazine. Just wondering if their is any magazines out there that caters to the trumpet player.

You would think there would be, but other than the ITG Journal, I'm not sure there is. I am currently getting Modern Drummer magazine - what a wonderful magazine with tons of great information! If I knew of a good trumpet player's resource that was similar to MD, I'd subscribe. _________________ Patrick Gleason

I think there are enough trumpet players out here that would support such a magazine. I would love to subscribe to one.

The ITG Journal is the only trumpet specific one I know of, although The Brass Herald is a superb publication with plenty of trumpet features in there.

Are you familiar with a magazine called Windplayer?
It's published at PO Box 2666, Malibu, CA 90265. They also print some good masterclass booklets for various instruments. Barnes and Noble carries it in my area. _________________ Matt Finley https://mattfinley.bandcamp.com/releases
