For a trumpet player that is cool.... WAY COOL!!!

Could the pocket rocket just seem louder being closer to the bell?? Heck it is why Dizzy kept geting his bent he could hear it better.

Just reread guess not, Weird!!!

Quick question for anrapa...

Does Andy build the pocket rocket from scratch (using his own parts as well as assembly) or does he use parts import from elsewhere in the world?

Thanks -- Rick

Very, very nice, Anrapa. Both the playing and the videos. Thank you.

Nice playing and great videos.

Just want to make sure I understand: Is that you playing the Pocket Rocket on the background music for the YouTube videos?

If so, I must agree that that doesn't sound like any pocket trumpet I've ever heard.

very nice videos, as an old retired machinist I can appreciate such craftmanship but wearing long sleeves and loose fitting clothes around that spinning equipment scares the crap out of me. Danger, Danger Will Robinson.

Just what we need, an instrument that makes the already too loud players louder.

Hey mate, agreed on all the compliments above. Please tell us if you tried the Focus? How does it blow and how are the valves if they're not the usual Bauerfind ones he uses in his understandably more expensive models?

Cheers

Dave

Great videos! Others have made nice compliments on the Pocket Rocket. Please post your playing on one if/when you can...

Thanks for the link. While they don't sound as full as a regular Bb, those pocket horns DEFINITELY sound better than any of the cheap ones I've played.

Now if I could just learn to jam like those guys...

Bye!

Who is that playing "Over the Rainbow" in that video?
Using what instrument and mouthpiece?
Is there a pill I can take so that I can sound like that?

He should be Michael Lucas, according to the info I took from Taylor's promo CD I have.
