Cantaloupe Island can be found in one of the Aebersold play-along volumns. Look for Herbie Hancock, since he wrote the tune.

Are we talking about Cantaloupe Island by Herbie Hancock or Cantaloop, (Flip Fantasia) by US3 which used samples from Cantaloupe Island? A good midi on the US3 arrangement with a pretty good transcription of the trumpet solo can be had from trantracks.com
Gerard Presencer blows one heck of a solo for sure. Lee Morgan all the way!

It is listed under Cantaloop.
The trantracks number is TT0662. I use a piece of it for my website home page. It's a good one. |

You're right as always, Larry: "Mushmelon Island," Play-Along #54, Maiden Voyage.
