I am in the process of purchasing my son yet another trumpet since as you all know with this it never seems to end and was wondering your opinions.

He wants me to purchase him a piccolo so I was wondering what people thought about the 2 in question and recommendations and I know he should try them both out and choose the one that best fits him however we will not be able to do that so I ask the experts. Oh by the way he is about to start 2nd year university, just to let you know his level of play

One thing to keep in mind is that a new 940 picc will come with a set of Blackburn leadpipes. That's a $380 retail value added to the horn.
