Someone in my band brought in a chinese cornet last week that had (believe it or not) an old large Olds type mouthpiece receiver. I can only assume it was a specification error. It also had no top G - it had something between an F and an F# instead. I don't think that's a York. I believe it's, at best, a wall hanger or a lamp base. |

Agreed. An oddball Chinese "top quality" horn that extra effort was put into for better looks... |

I'm skeptical that it was made in China. It has the look of a French-made instrument, with the French-style bell and the inner-threaded bottom valve caps. _________________ Cornets:
