I apologize for my ignorance of classical music, but what is the piece that Nakariakov is playing in the background of this video. I really enjoy it and would like to know which album it is from.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The Haydn Cello Concerto is on Youtube and is different.
Any Nakariakovites out there? _________________ LA Benge 3X+

Here's Rostropovich playing Haydn's 2nd Cello concerto, 3rd movement.

Sounds like the same music that Nakariakov's playing to me. |

I played this piece 50 times on kiddy shows! I used to like it, but I got tired of it! |

Yeah, I think it's confusing because on his webpage it only lists in his repertoire and CD listing the 1st cello concerto in C, not the 2nd in D (from the video).
Maybe the 2nd hasn't been released or is on something like a Japanese release only. It's strange. |
