I apologize for my ignorance of classical music, but what is the piece that Nakariakov is playing in the background of this video. I really enjoy it and would like to know which album it is from.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=si0ruyD8rqw

Thanks.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. The Haydn Cello Concerto is on Youtube and is different.

Any Nakariakovites out there?

Here's Rostropovich playing Haydn's 2nd Cello concerto, 3rd movement.

Sounds like the same music that Nakariakov's playing to me.

I played this piece 50 times on kiddy shows! I used to like it, but I got tired of it!

Yeah, I think it's confusing because on his webpage it only lists in his repertoire and CD listing the 1st cello concerto in C, not the 2nd in D (from the video).

Maybe the 2nd hasn't been released or is on something like a Japanese release only. It's strange.
