I am looking for the best shop/technician to replace the lead pipe, tuning crook and 3rd valve slide crook on a Large Bore Getzen Eterna Trumpet.
I would like to keep it to original specs.

Try Jim Becker at Osmun Music. He did repair work on my two Getzens. Top notch repairman in the Boston area.

Thanks Joe for the plug.

Blue, we'd be more than happy to accomodate your trumpet repair needs.

You gotta love those Getzen trumpets that just keep on going and going...

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but this got me wondering - are there those of you who take a particular horn to a particular shop based on the make/model of the horn? Or are most of you like me and find a good repair guy/gal and employ them for all your brass needs?
