Has anyone ever tried the Allora trumpets? What do you know about them and what is your opinion of them. I heard they are copies of B&S?.....
The ones at wwbw are the AATR-125 for $599. Good price, but do they play decent?
Thanks. _________________ Gregory Lindquist

They are B&S trumpets but with a different brand. B&S are like Kanstul they manufacture for a number of brands. |

There used to be B&S made trumpets sold under the house brand name Allora. These ones have "Made in Germany" stamped on them, and for a time were real bargains. I wish I had bought their flugel when I had the chance.
It seems now that they are no longer made by B&S, but are Allora branded Chinese made instruments.
Buyer beware, ask questions, and make sure you have an easy return option should it not be satisfactory.
