Over the last couple of months I've let my practice habits ... erm ... slip
So as I've been attempting to get back into shape, I've had no problems with getting six notes, intervals, Harmonics, and Pedals back onto the track I was before, but I'm having trouble working SLS and LSL back into my routine. Every time I try to start working them in, my playing starts suffering (stiffer lips, loss of range, worse tone, etc.)
I have 2 thoughts on how I could go about working it back in, but I'd like to have thoughts of other forum members
1) Suck it up and bully through - start working them in and accept the bad lips and figure it'll work itself out in a little while
2) build back up from the beginning (i.e. go through the weekly schedule again until I'm back "on track")

I've had success in the past going through the weekly schedule, but only spending 2 or 3 days on each "week" until I got to where I had been. _________________ Bach trumpet artist-clinician
