I am sitting here in my music room. Just got home from running honor band auditions all day. I wanted to blow a little trumpet, but am too lazy to go get my mouthpiece out of the gig bag. So I grabbed my 40B and put the first mouthpiece I saw in it. (my desk is cluttered with mouthpieces) It is an ACB 3TF. I never, ever thought about playing a mouthpiece like that on my 40B. After all, it is a paint peeling, wall breaking, I don't need no amplifier horn. But wow. What a sound. A big, fat, rich sound with the intensity of the 40B. I don't know what venue I'd use this combination for, but it's kind of cool.
