I have lately been praticing Getchell 8va, very softly, and consciously accelerating air consistently with great results.
I'm not entirely sure how I'm doing this. I remember Mr. Adam telling me to pound down the valves and accelerate the air through the horn, but I've forgotten how he explained you control dynamics while accelerating air.
Is the dymanic controlled by the quantity of air? I don't want to forget how I got this going and I want to make sure I'm using the correct concepts. |

If you want to play loud, imagine loud. If you want to play soft, imagine soft. _________________ Bill Bergren

| Yes, I'm thinking this and it's working. Of course focusing on the sound first. I just can't remember what else Mr. Adam said about dynamics. |
