Yet another fun thread. I had always been told that all brass mouthpieces contained a little lead, and that was why they plate them and recommend against playing raw or extremely worn mouthpieces.
If the good Captain is really that concerned, he needs to do some research on food products that contain a higher lead content than his mouthpieces. _________________ "Well, I guess you can cut the arts as much as you want... Sooner or later, these kids aren't going to have anything to read or write about. " |

Could it be said that Bill Chase's mthpce had a lot of lead in it?
