Hi all!
I just would like to have some feedback from the owners of a Reunion Blues Continental Triple.
I'm said that although it looks like a gig bag the Continental Triple is much more sturdy, but is it really protective?
Are the outer shell AND the inside dividers stiff enough to prevent the horns from being dented? _________________

I do have a Continental triple although I have not used it. The exterior does appear to be protective, but the interior does not have as much padding as other bags I've used and am reluctant to give it a try as I fear there may be problems with multiple horns. Hope this gives you some insight.

I have this case and I absolutely love it. Like the previous pst says, it is very protective. I haven't had any problems with the interior. All of my trumpet fit snug in each slot. By far the best case I have had. _________________ Bb: Bach 37

Well I was expecting more responses, but apparently nobody else wants to chime in...
Thanks guys for giving your feedback! _________________

| I have one as well and like the protection but it's still a gig bag so care must still be taken. |

| I saw a guy who had one and the zipper crapped within the first 2 months of using it. It looks nice, but Reunion Blues doesn't have the reputation they used to. |

I bought one a month ago and it works well for me.
I am confident that it will protect my horns but am still aware that it is a bag, not a case so I am very careful. _________________ 2007 Schilke B7 24K Gold

I would suggest contacting Glenn Cronkhite. http://www.glenncronkhite.com/
He was the original designer for Reunion Blues before they parted ways. I have a beautiful, Super Triple bag that is just starting to get some character after about 5 years of moving horns. They are well and smartly built and Glenn is a first class guy to deal with. Highly recommended.

I have one, it has better protection than a standard bag. Unless Glen is doing new polymer padding in his cases the continental has better protection. As for a zipper issue, that would be a warrantee issue and should be easy to deal with.
Check this video.

Glenn makes beautiful bags to be sure, not bashing him just stating protective differences.

I've had one for about 3-4 months. I love it. I use it to carry my trumpet and a flugel and the third section I use to carry mutes, music, accessories, stuff like that. It's pretty durable. Yes, it is not a case per se, so I am careful, but for me, I'm very careful with all of my horns and how I handle them, regardless of the case. They all get the baby treatment from me.
