Greg,
Thanks for posting the videos. A lot of what you say makes sense. I get the part where the tongue arch interconnects with the embouchure for "shape".
However one thing perplexes me. In your high note development part 2 I'm watching your embouchure at approximately 2:00 mark and see that as you ascend (w/o horn or MP) you are pulling back at the corners. Though you do not appear to be smiling, the action seems to be similar to the smile embouchure.

Can you please confirm that is what your are doing, or even better, if you can explicitly explain what you are attempting to to and how it feels? As one who started out on the smile system, I am afraid to approach your system the wrong way.
