A truly inspiring "up and coming" player is Victor Silverstone. Those who heard him at the 2012 ITG Conference will hopefully agree. AKA Viktor Kisnichenko, he won the 1996 Ellsworth Smith and 1998, Kiev International.
Presently, he is Principal Trumpet in the Gavle (Sweden) Symphony; Victor also spent several years in NZ.
