The USPS has recently issued a Miles Davis stamp with the same image as on the "Jack Johnson" recording. They paired it with an Edith Piaff stamp and it had something to do with the artist seeing some similarity. I will use the Miles stamp for my best friends and the Edith stamp to put on my water bills.

That's funny - I've been doing the same thing! In my case, though, all my bills are paid online, so the Edith stamps have been piling up in a drawer...

I buy all these cool collectors stamps and hardly use them. I went to use my Miles stamps the other day and I can't find them. Luckily I still had "Jazz" stamps left in glove box.

We saw a musical, one woman play up in SF a couple years ago, nice insight into her "Edith's" life and music. And I saw the Tu Tu concert with Miles at the Hollywood Bowl in circa ???
