Hey, just a heads up for the trumpet players that have everything (but it's still not enough) out there. Brasswind (wwbw.com) has a Taylor Rio marked down to $1799 since this model has been discontinued-- there is now a Rio II. I played this horn and it is very nice. It has the valve section made by DEG and the standard big Taylor bell. It is a bit lighter, and dare I say-- more conventional than most other Taylors. Brasswind originally had it listed for about $2400 so although it still ain't cheap it is something of a bargain. A nice horn for the daring out there.
