Looking for a case that holds at least 2 Bbs and a flugel. Extra space for music would be a plus. Any suggestions?

Most triples I have tried are actually too small for that combo. I think you might be better off with a quad. Would love for someone to prove me wrong so I can try that case. Only ones I am not familiar with are torpedos.

Yeah, I think you might need a quad for that.

I'm not opposed to that if someone can make some suggestions.

My iPac quad is set up to carry Bb, flugel, & a picc.

I could carry 2 full-size horns & a flugel if I wanted, with no problems - would just need to remove a few of the many, MANY small pads that are included to custom-fit the case for just about any configuration.

There's the usual Pro Tec outside zippered pouch/pocket that is almost as large as the lid. It will easily hold mouthpiece pouches, oils & other lubes, SWABS (sorry, couldn't resist ), pencils, small folded wire music stand, etc., and I'm sure a tablet PC if you wanted. Personally I would not try to carry a lap top in it.

As far as mutes...probably not in the outside pouch. Maybe one or two. Might be some room inside the case itself, depending on how you set it up.

There is a metal ring on the top of the lid which I'm guessing is there for any other clip-attached bags, such as one for mutes.

I can't comment on hard cases but my Protec Super Triple Gig Bag holds a Bb, C and flugel reasonably well. And there's tons of room for stuff. Here's what I typically pack.

MAIN COMPARTMENT
Bb, Flugel, 2 K&M Stands, Polishing cloth (I additionally also pack either the C or Picc as needed)

MUTE BAG (Removable)
Bucket, Bubble, Plunger, Cup, Straight, Solotone (yes, all fit)

END (Small side)
3 Mouthpieces, Valve oil, slide oil, slide lube, sanitizer, Polishing cream

END (Large side)
2 Water Bottles, Crown Royal Bags, Practice Mute, Picc Stand Peg

SIDE COMPARTMENT
Pencil/Pens, Eraser, Batteries, Tylenol, 2 Mute Holders, Picc Stand Base, Music Folder, 2 Music Lights

An iPad would easily find in the side compartment but I wouldn't without a pretty sturdy cover over the display.

A Marcus Bonna quad will do all that and more. Plus, the quad is only an inch or so larger than the Bonna triple. I was able to fit two Yamaha flugels, a Bb and a cornet plus a mute or two for a recent tour of Mary Poppins. It also has a full zippered top for music.

Sure, they're a bit pricey and heavy; but I can live with it knowing the horns are safe. Plus, it comes with backpack straps; works great for riding a scooter!

My triple holds my C, Bb and flugelhorn. I could easily put a Bb in instead of a C.

It has a zippered pouch on one side that I keep mouthpieces, oil, etc in.

The other side has an open pocket that could be used for music.

This is a Glen Cronkite case.

I do find that the Bb and C bells make contact so I wrap a towel around one.

Wisemann quad if you have the money. A friend of mine has one, and I'm pretty sure he can get a Bb, C, picc, and flugel in it. They are quite expensive, unfortunately.

I used a Reunion Blues Super Triple case throughout college. I'm pretty certain three flugels could fit in there if you wanted to. But, it will definitely hold two Bbs and a Flugel with no problems. There is a big pocket on the side that can hold a large music folder as well. The only problem I had with it was that the strap broke a couple of times. I emailed the company and they sent me a new one each time, but I finally went out and just bought a more durable strap.

Must have been a TARDIS with its chameleon circuit set to "trumpet case."

A quad would definitely be the way to go. With my protec I was only able to fit my Bb and flugel or Bb and C. They dont seem to comfortably fit three horns without making a tight fit, much less adding the music.

The mute bad that protec offer to clip on is great though. I'm able to easily fit a harmon, staight, and cup.

The Marcus Bonna quad would probably be a better fit for your horns.

The Reunion Blues Continental gig bag will easily carry two Bb and a flugelhorn. The bag offers quite a bit of protection as well.
John Ruff has made a nice Youtube video, where he demonstrates the Continental:

I've fit THREE Getzen 4 Valve flugels in mine. Those are massive horns....

I had to put the two in the sides upside down and the one in the middle the right way up, but it worked. I really liked my RB Super Triple, and still do, I just got an MB triple for the flying I had to do.

I really recommend the case.
