Raymond Crisara's staff position with NBC radio/TV ran from the late 1940s until around 1970-ish; NBC Symphony, Cities Service "Band of America," and then anything that might be asked of him, legit or commercial.
He didn't get in front of the camera much, but I just turned up this video. He's subbing on the 1962 Perry Como Thanksgiving Special (replacing the regular guy who was doing an USSR tour with Woody Herman--anyone know who that would be?). It's a charming "town band" number; of course he pre-recorded it with the other staffers, but fun to see all the same:
