So I ended up buying a Benge 90B for $400. The valves and slides are in great condition, and it plays very well. On the valve casing, there is a letter "L", which I assume means it has a large bore. However, I don't know the exact measurement of the bore. I heard that it is .462, but I just want to be sure. Any help would be appreciated! _________________ Trumpet player in Couch

From what I understand, they did a ML .459 and a L .462. It sounds like yours is certainly the large bore. I love mine. I've had a blast playing on it the last week. Glad you picked it up.

Also, the 90B I purchased has a rounded 1st slide saddle rather than the standard UMI one, and it doesn't appear to be a re-solder. Looking at some pictures on google, only the 90B "Leonore" trumpets had the rounded thumb saddle. It also has the case only found on Leonore models.... I guess this means that I don't just have a regular 90B, but a 90B Leonore? Is this assumption correct? _________________ Trumpet player in Couch
