A 1928 Buescher catalog was recently posted to saxophone.org, and it shows the two bugles I own, the Model 292 "long model" bugle in G and the Model 290 "regulation Army bugle", in other words, the M1892. Charlie Melk is currently restoring the Model 290 for me.

The mouthpiece I have is clearly not original. While I doubt I will ever find a vintage Buescher bugle mouthpiece, I'd like to find something close.

Haven't seen anything useful yet, though; does anyone have suggestions on where to find something like that?

Thanks!

Tom
