These are trumpet teachers who teach lessons via Skype (or similar platforms) who have been recommended by one or more posters on this forum. This list is updated as of 19 May, '16, but no new suggestions for a while now. Can it be that we now have listed all the Skype/Facetime teachers in the world?. No, I didn't think so.
Please continue to post suggestions.
Thanks,
Andy
Bruce Haag

Well-designed web site, with an easily-found link to information about on-line lessons. Says that he takes students from beginner to pro. His orientation is jazz and he has a background playing in show bands. He was a long-time student of Gordon, and is "Claud Gordon Certified". He's my teacher, and I think he's great.
John Mohan
Contact him here on TH--I can't find a website for him.
Jeanne Pocius

I don't see a website for her, but found her FaceBook profile. She doesn't mention teaching lessons.
Alex Yates

Her web site only contains the bio; nothing mentioning Skype lessons. No other links to contact her.
Pops McLaughlin
http://www.bbtrumpet.com
Very large website, with promotion of his Skype teaching, his writing and publications. There is a reasonable amount of interesting and helpful material offered free on the site.
David Bilger

Note: This is a different approach to on-line learning than most of the teachers on this list use. You pay for a subscription to Artistworks, than watch pre-recorded "lessons". You practice the material assigned, then when you feel ready you record yourself and post the video. Mr. Bilger than watches your vid and records a reply, with teaching. You can apparently do this as much as you like for the duration of your subscription. Your video is posted along with those of other students for all students to watch.

"Really nice guy, great player and if you really want to know about this or that horn, he's played them all. ...he's really not a hard sell. He's much more about getting your playing where you want it before you even think about buying a different or additional axe." --furcifer (member)

Jim Manley and Lynn Nicholson do Skype lessons through Stomvi. I can't speak for Lynn, but I've had a couple lessons with Manley. He's absolutely brilliant. Really funny guy, and very easy to work with. Plus, how many other people can play like him?

I second Bruce Haag as well. I took in person lessons with him for 3 years. He's a certified Claude Gordon instructor. _________________ Yamaha YTR 2330

I edited my original post, to make it a list of the teachers who have been suggested. Instead of the edited version appearing, the post is now blank. Does anyone know why?
Well, here's as much as I've done so far:

Any time I try to past anything into a post, the post comes up blank. I've been working on a list of people recommended in this thread, but I've lost the original post, and when I try to post the edited version of the post, I just get a blank.
Anyone know what's going on? _________________ Andy

I just realized that there might be a limit on new members posting links. I'll wait patiently until I'm permitted to do so, and then post a list with links to websites, and a few details that I pick up.
In the meantime I just wanted to say that I settled on Bruce Haag for my own lessons. I may be more difficult than many students, since I live in Papua New Guinea. He's been great about teaching at times that may not be super convenient for him to work around both the time difference and my difficult schedule. He's also been good about helping me get the books I need, but sending them to a volunteer who is coming to our hospital so that she can bring them to me. Thanks to both StupidBrassObsession and jtpowell for suggesting him.
I just had my first lesson, and I'm feeling like this will be a really good fit for me.
Please continue to add names of on-line or Skype teachers. _________________ Andy

I can offer Skype lessons and I'd like to recommend John Lake who I had a great couple of Skype lessons from recently. _________________ https://payhip.com/sheetmusicplayalong
