I used to love the smell of this stuff! I have been looking for an old bottle, empty or not. I reminds me of my trumpet teacher some 37 years ago. I was using the standard Al-Cass and then was probably one of the first users of Blue Juice. At that time it was thought to be a Fad geared to attract kids.
I know that Slikstuf is still made (I don't know if it is the same), but I would love to get the old eyedropper bottle. |

I used slickstuff when I was in high school back in the 70's. I saw that YourBrass had it for sale in his store a little while back and purchased some.
I found I didnt like it as well as other oils and the smell isn't something I particularly care for so I switched back. I don't remember what type of bottle it was. Perhaps YourBrass can comment. |

I had forgotten all about that stuff! Yeah, I used it, and remember the eye dropper bottle. Then I went to Al Cass, and then Roche- Thomas.

i seem to remember the red stuff with cinnamon using the eyedropper too.

I just bought a CONN 80A Victor cornet at an antique store and in the case was a little glass bottle of SLIKSTUF. Smells a little bit like kerosene with cinnamon scent added. Doesn't have a glass dropper, though.
