I am looking for a new mouthpiece case. Any suggestions on something that holds 3 to 5? Perhaps in leather or just something that will hold up.

Thanks

I use mostly ProTec, with a few Wolfpak or Monette thrown in. ProTec just announced some new ones, with zippers, that might be worth a look:

Leather Specialties.

Many vendors carry them as well as ordering directly from them.

www.amazon.com/Protec-BELT-POUCH-SMALL-BRASS/dp/B0052VJM9W

Protec makes this one, very sturdy and cheap. I like it.

Torpedo makes a tremendous leather pouch. Very well made and incredibly protective, and reasonably priced for the quality you get.

I have a 4 mouthpiece, a 2 mouthpiece, and two single mouthpiece pouches. (A triple is made as well). You won't be disappointed.

Ditto on the Torpedo Bags mouthpiece cases.
THICK LEATHER!

Nicely made. Durable. I'm not sure what would happen if it were dropped. But, most pouches wouldn't fair well.

I've got a quad mouthpiece holder directly from Torpedo Bags.
And, a double from Josh Landress in NYC.

Gard makes a quad case with a nice velcro strap. It is black leather outside, with greyish blue felt inside. These are not cheap, around $20. I needed more space, however...

I've started using a small clear plastic Plano fishing lure box. I lined it with foam inserts and a cut up old t-shirt. It has 6 slots, which is enough for my 3 trumpet mouthpieces, 2 cornet mouthpieces, and my flugel mouthpiece. Got it at Wal-Mart for $5...

These are really nice and extremely solidly constructed. Also, it's on WWBW for $12, not $20.

By contrast, Bach makes a quad pouch that's similar, but in nylon, not thick leather. It's $15. I've used both, the Gard is a superb product.

I've looked at the ProTecs, they're fine. I still think the Gard is really nice.

I use ProTech cases for my horns, mutes, and accessories. Never had a problem with any of their products.

I also use the ProTech pouches, and have 1MP, 2MP, and 4MP versions. They are affordable, and for me, are protective enough.

However, those Torpedo holsters look pretty nice, too.

+1 for the Gard quad. I picked mine up for $12 from WW&BW a while back, and I love it.

The finest quality that I have found is from Great Leather. Dena Hamilton did a 5-piece mouthpiece case for me and a matching pouch for 2 piccolo trumpet leadpipes. Both in forest green leather. Very nice but also rather expensive.
