Hey y'all,

Some of you may be interested in checking out this video of my one-man-band project, called Moving Sound Pictures, performing a simple arrangement of Jobim's "How Insensitive" that heavily features my wonderful Eclipse cornet! I hope you enjoy it:

You get a thumbs up from me. I enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.

If the jacket had black lapels, I'd give it a thumbs up as well.

There are two points: musical and business.

* Musical
For me, you are missing the essence of the song.
1) obviously you cannot achieve dynamic feedback FROM your cornet that would influence the articulation and phrasing of the accompaniment (bass etc), as you would in a real band.
2) technical fireworks are too much. You sound ok when playing head. Less is more.
3) the final electric piano sequence sounds barren now that you made everyone expect fireworks.
4) the closing harpsichord-like turns are out of style with the song.

* Business
As long as you get the bills paid and audience enjoying what you do, do not pay attention to what anyone else, including myself, is saying.
