This isn't my horn. I have no interest who buys or sells it.

But DAYUMMMM that's a clean CG in the cherry vintage

That's extremely minty. I'm a little tempted...

More than fair money too.

I don't think this will last. Resisting urge to buy it ....I don't need it...but it's so clean, and the vintage is tasty.

I'm trying to make a quick deal on a used Bach I have. If I flip it, and it's available I'm gonna buy this I think

That horn has got to be a player. Good luck and let us know what happens!

I had a lacquer CG a few serial numbers off stolen years ago. Nowhere near as clean as this.

Nostalgia has the best of me.

It looks good but that photo shot down the bell is certainly not what I'd call "minty."

After a second look, it appears the valve guides are nylon. Didn't Claude prefer the brass guides in his horns. It's an easy fix, but I don't know if I am remembering this right.

No, no signs of damage. Just use, like from time spent on a trumpet stand.

Cool. Just sold my 70s Bach. I've wanted to sell it for a while.

If it's still available I think I'm gonna buy it tomorrow

With their wafer-thin bell material, these horns do collect more than their fair share of mute and hornstand dings.

Yes Claude preferred brass guides, but the horns came with nylon guides unless brass were ordered as an option (when students bought the Benges through Claude, he always ordered them in lacquer with brass guides and a delete option on the thumb-throw).

When the Selmer CG came out Claude got his way and that horn came with brass guides as standard equipment. But the last ones (after Claude died) were produced with nylon guides. When the cat's away, the mice will play...
