When I've come to lessons I've brought a few books that I've been using for practice, for example, I have the Harry James Trumpet Method, Hubert Humphries Trumpet Method, Edwards-Hovey Volume II for etudes... stuff like that. (I enjoy older method books.)
I might've mentioned areas I've had trouble with, but let the teacher guide me beyond that.

Alright- I'm preparing a small list of things for actually have READY for that first day. Open mind included.
I'm in fact far more excited to see what information I can get to improve my overall playing rather than just trying to address what I might have considered my "key points".
Again, thanks for the information. I'll be looking forward to this first lesson. Someone said somewhere that once you get a teacher, STAY OFF of trumpet forums and follow the teacher's advice - that might have to be one of the first things I make sure to do _________________ ATB
