Apparently Trumpet sections act as cheer leaders in Japan baseball. But why blatting?

I loved having them there with their trumpets. Not so much the blat-blat but it's baseball so......

Well I found them orders of magnitude more entertaining than the awful buzz of those vuvuzelas during the World Cup. Bring real trumpets! Huge improvement, in my opinion.
