What seems to be the US Jupiter site shows a .413 bore for JFH1100R.... Also, some of the wording would seem to suggest that this might be a renamed 846. A call to Jupiter or one of the Jupiter dealers like Austin Custom Brass might solve the issue... Or, may be, give it a further twist *Grins!*

I emailed Jupiter a couple months ago. A representative said, "Thank you for contacting us! The 1100R is a .433 bore, the Jupiter website has a typo."

Guido, there is something wrong with the keyboard you are using. In all your posts there appears without any reason and without any connection always some animal shout like *Grins*. Really weird. |

Hello Delano... My keyboard is innocent of all animal shouts. The culprit is thine truly. I prefer the oldfashioned splatting of exclaimed words to new-fangled smilies and even newer-fangled graphic emogees, which tend to be real pains to read with my screen reading software.

That just goes to show there are hardly any super small bore flugelhorns that take a Yamaha shank |

Adams flugels use the large taper. Their bores are as follows:
F1 -- 0.413
F2 -- 0.413
F3 -- 0.433
F4 (4-valves) -- "0.413" reaching to 0.433"
F5 -- 0.413
Getzen 4895 uses the large taper, and has a 0.420 bore.

There is no necessary connection between bore size and the mouthpieceshank specs |

No worries Delano... You are in good company. My father often could not understand my point either ;)

But he could and had the obligation as a father to beat you up. |

Thankfully father lost his own acerbic sense of humor after I turned 18... Thus, no physical action associated to his morosities.
