Glad I was able to get a plug in for TrumpetHerald - none of the hangs would have happened without it! _________________ Jim Hatfield

Next year I think we should honor the neighbors requests by doing two things: pick one tune all players know by heart and have a massed performance on the front lawn at 4 PM.
Star Spangled Banner might be cool with 20+ trumpets and everyone surely knows it.
The other thing is be sure to cut the hang off at 5 PM. _________________ Jim Hatfield

I went to the Southeast Trumpet Festival last January, and they did something that might be fun for your trumpet hang. They organized a massive trumpet ensemble to play on stage at the end of the festival. They organized a brief rehearsal around lunch time. The music was fun to play, but easy enough that it would sound good with little rehearsing.
Jay Lichtman posted free trumpet ensemble music here:

Maybe you could run through something inside a few times then play it outside for the neighbors at the end of the hang. _________________ Bb Yamaha Xeno 8335IIS
