early Monette STC-1 vs STC-2 Bb

Hi guys,

I am in the market for an early Monette Bb. Could anyone explain to me the difference between model STC-1 and STC-2? I know for mouthpieces the higher the STC # is the heavier they are. This might not be the same case for horn though.
