Hello,
I own a Chuck Mancuso Mouthpiece.
Medium Small Volume, 16.66 MM, Semi Flat - Wide Rim, Medium Sharp Bite & Medium High Alpha Angle. If the Alpha angle is too high, I have the tendency to hit the side of shallower mouthpieces. That is one reason I play on a basically a 1 1/2 Mouthpiece. I play in the upper register very often.
The Mouthpiece works very well for me, but I would like to try an equivalent Monette Prana, in term of the specs above. I have tried many mouthpieces from different companies and the specs above seem to work the best for me.
Thanks,

Mark,
You say the mouthpiece works very well for you. Why do you want to switch? Is there something you want to improve upon or is this simply trumpet player curiosity?
We have a number of designs with the Macaluso rim available:
65.6S Mac 589 Classic
M65.6 with Butcher MS 1755 Classic
M65.6 with Butcher M 1700 Classic
M65.6 MS 1949 Classic
M65.6 M 1575 Classic
M65.6 MX 1052
M65.6 VC 1324 Classic
Let me know if there is something we can help you with. Don't let blind curiosity mess you up!
