You're welcome. BTW I meant that what you want seems impossible to me, nothing more.

Realised you meant it's a big ask - just asking for alternatives to a Recording which from what people have said is next to impossible. I've tried lots of other peoples horns (some very expensive ones like **nette) but there's something about my Recording that they just don't have.

Thanks for all the replies.

Tried an Ambassador a while back didn't get on with it.
By cheapest I mean probably less than $750 (although I'm in UK so about £600 UK).

I realise that there's nothing like my recording and I'm having it serviced in a couple of months but looking for a spare in case it's needed.

Thanks

There's a recording on ebay for £650 BIN. (Correction - sure it had a BIN of 650 earlier, but currently on bids only)

Looks like it's got a few dents on it, but if it's a player it might be worth it - can always get it straightened out at a later date?

Watching it closely. Similar condition to my 1964 Recording but with bigger dents. Hope we're not competing for it!

Another one here, currently sitting at a £300 bid: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Olds-Recording-Bb-flat-Trumpet-no-case-/142421808545?hash=item21290055a1:g:hg8AAOSwLsBZSdWh

Small ding on the leadpipe and a bigger one on the bell by the valves. Tempted to put in a bid myself, but I really shouldn't... Also, note only one feedback rating on the seller.
