Hey all,

I just moved to Boston, and I'm looking for a new teacher in the area. I'm currently working on a new embouchure, and it is going very well, but I am stuck in a few areas. I'd be interested in finding a good 'chop doc' teacher that could help me out. Any recommendations out there?

I think Trent Austin is not too far away from you.

Wouldn't Jeanne Pocius Dorismond be someone worth working with?

With so many great trumpet players/teachers in the greater Boston area it's hard hard to name just one. Here's a short list of four more outstanding teachers:

Richard Given in Ayer, MA near 495 and Route 2 West, and Zebediah Upton in Foxboro, MA. Both are members of the Lexington Symphony, their bios can found here http://lexingtonsymphony.org/meet-the-players/brass

Charles Lewis at Berklee https://www.berklee.edu/people/charles-lewis

Dana Russian http://www.proarte.org/dana-russian/

I hope this is helpful. Good Luck!
