By all means plan a visit to Brass Studio Prague. It is a killer brass shop with a great assortment of trumpets, flugels, mouthpieces and cases to browse through. You know it's a hip place when the first thing you see when walking in is a large poster of Clifford Brown. Arnold Kinkal is the owner and his sidekick is David Mastusik. Arnold is a hell of a trumpet player and both guys are great to hang with. The address is:
Brass Studio Prague
Prvniho pluku 12
Praha 8
www.kinkalbrass.cz
A short taxi ride from the city center and well worth it. Arnold can also fill you in on what's happening while you're there.
