Airflow Music are proud to announce their first publications: "Combination Drills: Developed Scales in Odd Meters" by Bryan Davis. Volumes 1 & 2 are now available!

Combination Drills is a collection of Developed Scale exercises for Brass Instruments, designed to allow the aspiring brass wind musician to practice a variety of musical and technical skills simultaneously, thus unifying their airflow approach and getting the best value for their practice time.

These exercises have been developed by Bryan Davis, a world-renowned Lead Trumpeter originally from the UK, who now lives and works in New York City. In addition to his busy playing schedule, Mr Davis has become one of the most sought after trumpet teachers working today; regularly consulting with players from all over the world, helping them play more easily and efficiently, and particularly assisting those recovering from lip injuries.

The Combination Drills series is available in Editions for Trumpet (& other treble clef instruments) and Trombone (& other bass clef instruments).

Visit the online store at AirflowMusic.com and grab an instant PDF download today. Printed books are also available from Amazon. The Airflow Music product pages contain links to find the printed books on Amazon sites around the world.

I expect there are some folks here who already have Volume 1 of Combination Drills - it's been sold around the world for a few months now. If anybody has any questions about how to approach the exercises, please chime in. I'll be glad to offer any guidance I can!

Or, if you just want to tell everybody how much you've enjoyed them, and how beneficial they've been, that'd be good too!

On the recommendation of a friend, I just purchased Volume 1 of this series. I'm really looking forward to digging into this over the next several months. It looks like a great way to work on fundamentals and useful theory for improvisation all at once. Cheers!
