Anybody using the Stomvi 4 valve "C" trumpet? I imagine it´s a good alternative for players who prefer the "C" trumpet sound and feel over other horns, and this Stomvi 4 valve "C" trumpet will give them the extra range for literature only playable on a Bb trumpet

The 4 Valve Titan C trumpet takes the register well below the standard Bb trumpet range. The Titan 4 Valve Eb trumpet takes the instruments register to the bottom of the standard Bb range.
The 4th valve takes the instrument a 4th or a tri-tone lower depending on how you would like the instrument to be set up.
The Stomvi Titan 4 Valve line was developed for the soloist. These instruments allow the player to play throughout an expanded register increasing the selection of repertoire and keys for each piece selected.

These instruments play quite well I have had the opportunity to play a couple of them. They function as well or better than any 3 valve instrument.

Here are several links to this fine line of instruments.

Thanks for the input Jon. Pacho is a phenomenal musician, I´ve had the fortune to hear Him live a couple times and attended several masterclass with Him. Jon do you know if someone in the orchestral world is using the Stomvi 4 valve C trumpet? I was thinking excerpts like Carmen, Shostakovich piano cto no. 1, Mahler 5 (Beginning including low Eb), Ein Heldenleben (Eb parts) and other passages.
